The boys have come back to take the throne. And with Phish gone and Jerry gone, ...there is noone to compare with on the grand jam stage. These guys are in midtour form right now. They have practiced and prepared for giving us our money`s worth. I was blown away Thurs night. The energy walking into the show was electric...you could see the look in everyones eyes......Most of us in the crowd had willingly paid hundreds for a single ticket. I didnt spend 200.00 to be cool or go see what the fuss was all about, I WANTED it...needed it. We all were hungry and came with purpose!! As soon as the lights went down and Holden burst out, it was ON...I thought I had missed them already, but I had no idea how good this one would feel to the soul. If youre wondering,....String Cheese, Phil and friends, the Allmans....all great bands, but stop what youre doing this tour and go see Widespread Panic. This timing of this return, along with the music itself is something you can rarely be fortunate enough to experience.

first of all, I can understand crying when Jerry died. However, the solemnity of panic`s hiatus is in no way equal to the macabre of Howser passing. Let`s keep this in perspective. We are all so very thankful for the band`s return, but let us not equate our personal pleasures and desires to that which the band and fans alike have suffered. His light still shines in the band, the songs, and those who remember his sound. JB said, "thank you Mikey, you made a good sound." After having to say that, of which I was witness, who can blame the band for a long needed hiatus. Welcome back. Thank You. You obviously still make a "good sound."

I`ve cried twice in my life:

1)When Jerry Died.
and 2)Watching Panic come back from "Hiatus".
