the most remarkable part of this show, in my opinion, is the One Step Closer > Water. In actuality, the setlist should read OSC > Water > OSC Jam > Water. The jams for each song flowed in and out of each other with power. It was deliciously disorienting! I was dancing to the divine on the rail!

We need more bluegrass and less rollover and joyful sound!

Dude, were you not present when they played the 17 minute long version of Rollover??!!! If you weren`t grooving hard to the space jam in the middle of this one, you were somewhere else....
....took the crowd into new stratospheres...
looking up at the balcony level to all the people dancing out on the ledge of the boxes - the balloons flying around on the floor like a giant pinball machine...
>>Not to mention the zilla after shows Saturday and Sunday nights at the Media Room<< Billy AND Kang sat in for unbelieveable sets. Mind you, it was worth it just to watch Aaron`s face the whole night as he ripped on the base.
What a great weekend.

This was one of those "almost, but not quite" shows. There were some gems as far as song selection and how they were played, and I`m very glad I was there, but as a whole, the show didn`t quite ever get going. In my opinion, the middle part of the second set, particularly "On Fire," was mired in this big time rock band feel. It was very, shall we way, noisy, as Kyle`s vocals were almost completely drowned out. Once they got back to songs like "Shaking the Tree," things regained their smooth sound.
All in all, a fun show, and one that will probably grow on me as time goes on. Any Cheese show is worth it, so download and enjoy.
