...... oh my goodness, how did I forget to mention the STELLLAAAR 'DON'T BE DENIED' ..... Plain and simple, these guys are the F'CKING FIRE !!! As REAL as REAL gets kids ..... also, props on the Encore, too .... and the 'perfect' 'Driving> Breathing Slow' .... what a helluva night for thos eof who know how to 'listen' ~;)

for what its worth, I can say that NYE 2008 was easily THE SICKEST show ..... that I haven't even been to !!! NYE in the Good Ol ATL was alwaaays my year end 'saving grace' my 'catharsis' for all the WP shows I never get to see b/c Im an efffing workaholic!!!
-=BUT=- Thanks the boys for trying to make sure EVERYONE GETS 'SOME' via the WebCast .... which my friend then hooked up the feed & audio to his brand new [TOY-yea its dope] 46' Samsung flat screen which ran through his sweeeet sound system to ring the New Year, in much style ..... and for once no looong drives or flights, hotels, cops, long lines, coooooold-assss Colorado (I even like cold) ....
whatever, for as much as I would have LOOOOVED to make that 4hr drive to Hotlanta again this to cut loooooose, I found that I enjoyed myself IMMENSELY - The whole NYE show is off the f'king hook, but that trifecta of pure-psycedelic-bluegrass/rock-n-roll freight train .... the transition into WDYBT-ummmm,hmmm .... Feeling kinda funny in my eyes, Lawd .... look over yonder, look to the burying ground - WOW.
Of course they needs to slow it down a touch, catch yo breath or find yo wits, hell, maybe even let out a few louud-ass 'wOOOOps!" ..... {ya see, I knew them boys was not fucking around from the 'Chilly > Travelin' opener - anyone else figger that, too ?!?]
The most perfect song to play is EXACTLY WHAT THEY PLAYED -'VACATION' ...... annnnnnd THEYT F'KING NAILED IT.
Personally, I love 'Clinic Cynic' - what a treat and I also love 'Angels on HIGH' - maybe not as much as JB like it, but ... great soothing-vibe ..... I knew they had to pull something nasty out after their rampge thus far and they did not diappoint 'Arleen' ...... what a dream .... over 16, under 31 .... and then 'Papa's HOME'!!! ... and don't forget about all the 'curiousities for our heads - HOW DARE YOU SHOW UP ON TIME ?! IS THIS YOUR FAAAAVOR-ITE CHAAAAAR-ITY ?!?!?! .......... WOW .... liten to this on some great headphones ....

Sorry for all the 0000's and 1111's - I got a "little" carried away with my endorsement and the whole damn reason I even posted was to tell 'dude' that 'SONNY SAYS THERE WILL BE 'REGULAR' TOURING IN 2009 .... he mention something about being out on the road as 'usual' around April/May' < its was in an interview, I am not BS'sing ya'll - seee you peeeeps in OB fer round THREE !!!

Relax Colorado Deadhead, they are just not going to tour quite extensively. Look for a few late Spring shows (really only a FEW), some summer festies and definetely Red Rocks , followed by a full fall tour.

You all have summed it up perfectly by saying there are no words to describe the NYE scene at the Pepsi Center. I mean seriously, playing Space Wrangler, As Time Goes By, having Jeff Austin and Dave Johnson jam with them on 3 songs (the mandolin sounded so cool at the end of Aint Life Grand and into Who Do You Belong To)and playing well past 2 a.m., what other band in the world could deliver a performance like that?? Plus there is not a guitar player out there who can touch Jimmy right now. NO ONE!

On the downside, please tell me the rumor that WSP is taking 2009 off is not true....

Top to bottom a fantastic New Years run!!!! I almost don't have the words to describe it all. The vibe was tremendous and the band was giving the love back!!! I can't wait for my next Vacation!!!!! Thanks to all and have a great New Year!!!!!!

One of the sickest shows in the past ten years and one of the best with Jimmy Herring yet. Anyone who was in the room that night knows how special this one was. Also, Space Wrangler from start to finish was a one-time treat. I strongly recommend a download. Second set jams with Yonder are phenomenal. See yall this spring!
