he's the MVP on an average team. they're consistent, but nothing flashy. my guy? shit...he's the mother fuckin' three sixty, from the MIDDLE OF THE COURT, between the legs slam dunkin' cinnin-fuckin-ger. (that's me talking to my son when he's old enough to come and see umph). hell man - you know i'm just playin'. jimmy's awesome - no doubt. used to see him in ARU in the mid 90's and i'm SOOOO glad he's found a forum where he can strut his shit and he's appreciated. he's one of the best. ONE of. but jake's still better. as for you mr. colorado deadhead...i think your predictions for umph are off. they're here to stay. and as far as stasik...well...you're just jealous. fuck - i wish i was as handsome as him and could play a bass like that. i'd have my noodle inside anything and everything that moves. it's called being a rock star. be happy for him. anyway - love to all. let's all just be glad there are jimmy herrings and jake cinningers and victor wootens in the world who make our jaws drop!

Did that kid really say Jake Cinniger is the best guitarist on earth????? I will admit whofrees mcgay is talented, on point, tight talented musicians. But no matter what they still suck...their beats are way to weird the melodies are choppy and they only reason they got popular is because no one good was touring. dead, cheese, phish and panic all were in shambles most of the time of there ascent. I hate to say it but dohphrees mcqueef is DONE. THe beginning of the end has started for them and they will shortly be a passing fade. Spinephixer - Aww yes what a match-up that would be. Humor me for a second - Let's relate guitar playing to professional sports - as of right now Jimmy is the leader and there aint no body near him, he's on fire, unstoppable, you name it. Also as you mention his guitar playing maybe saved WSP, which would make him the most valuable player for his team - MVP. My vote goes to Jimmy.

Attention Colorado Deadhead...not that it's a contest but YOU brought it up...I'd put my Jake Cinninger up against your Jimmy Herring any day of the week. I love Jimmy, and the energy he has brought to Panic - personally I think he saved them - but he's not the beginning and the end of guitarists. Damn good, yes. The best? Not quite. Let the flames begin...
