Buy this show! Amazing stuff...I was expecting a decent soundboard sound and that the tracks would be nowhere as near good as a studio album, but the intensity of this long performance makes it a classic, and as mentioned the banter is worth it alone, and that's before the solos go into the stratosphere...I love Billy's voice with the cold.

I purchased the CD(S) of this show and I wasn't disappointed. I was in attendance as well and it is nice to keep this show so I can relive it forever.
This was my favorite of the two shows. Lots of great soundbytes from Billy's interaction with the fans. Making fun of himself, joking about the fans and talking about the people who do and do not "get it." Billy is still getting over his cold at this show, but it didn't slow him down much.
One complaint I have is that the quality could've been better. You certainly need a stereo that has good bass. And I find that I need to turn the volume way up when I listen to it in the car. It seems to be recorded at kind of a low volume. I believe from listening to other show's samples.. there's probably better quality show recordings on here.
After listening to the show again I realized that in this version of "Gossamer" the intro riff is replaced by guitar f/x echo stuff. Which is kind of a bummer.. I really liked that intro riff they had in previous versions. Also.. I don't believe just hearing the audio of the song is enough.. you just had to be there to feel the full atmosphere and intensity of that song. But close enough.

If you're trying to decide to pick which of the 2 KC shows to pick up, I would have to recommend this one.. While both shows are absolutely top-notched, this one is almost worth it BECAUSE of the dialogue. Again, the band is in great spirits, interacting with the crowd, and a great setlist!
I took the above photo, just look for "2ndtheory" on smashingpumpkins.com if you'd like to relive this show with audio, and photographs!
