Reviews for The String Cheese Incident: 4/7/2005 The Big Easy Concert House, Spokane, WA

I had no idea that Washington was the place for some stanky cheese. Get this show at all costs, the band is really tight and you can feel their intensity. When Drew comes out they get taken to a different level and its like there is a new band, almost like Keller Incident...try it!

Definitely the show of the tour, buy this show now and turn it up!!!

Drew rocks the house with the mando, this is old school queso as good as it gets....

One of the best shows of the tour,in my opinion. the Big Shoes jam was my highlight of the first set for sure, but any set that ends with little hands > steam powered aeroplane is good in my book. so lonely thrown into sirens was fun and the whole band was cracking up when travis started singing it. this was my 50th show (and Ross` too..hi Ross) and my last of the tour and they really brought it. the floor was way packed so i went up to the balcony and raged it up there with plenty of room to dance for the 2nd set. best feeling had a nice could you be loved jam before they started dropping salsa hints which turned into texas then way back home.what a way to start a set!! next drew came back out and they started up old dangerfield. i was REALLY happy to see them play it again since the fillmore one.i hope they keep it in the rotation.it`s just got a good feeling to it.next came levee and it went WAY out there. black clouds was a good way to send us all out.lots of first-time-played songs in spokane. I think they completely surprised everyone when they encored with tangle up in blue.drew knew *all* the verses and belted them out for his last sit-in of the tour.tangled up in drew...

This was my first cheese show since I have been secluded in eastern Montana my whole life and WOW!!! it was phenomenal. The energy and the good karma is beyond words. The song Big Shoes definitely rocked everyone. Keep up the good work

PEACE

Great show, highlights abound. Big Shoes, Little Hands > Steam Powered Aeroplane, So Lonely spices up what is normally a vanilla song, and thats just the first set. One minor technical complaint, Out In The Woods > Black Clouds is mistracked, Clouds starts about 10 minutes or so into the woods track. Like I said, minor complaint, stellar show, great sounding recording.

Great Show!! Started out strong and with tons of energy with It is What it is. Highlight of the show had to be Texas>Way Back Home. Drew Emmit played a great mandolin and it was a good treat to hear Steam Powered Aeroplane. Overall the show rates a 7 out of 10 only because the Big Easy sucks for this type of show. Strict security, overcrowded floor, and no big light show because they had to use mainly the house lights. Great music though.
