Eagerly anticipated Jack White’s Toronto stop, and patiently waited for it to be released here. Jack’s intensity is unparalleled, and you can feel it listening to this set.
Enjoyed the new material from ‘Fear of the Dawn’ and ‘Entering Heaven Alive,’ mixed with other solo material, the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, and the Dead Weather songs.
Loved the surprise cover of “Ride Like Hell” by Big Sugar. Thought surely Jack White must have crossed the border at Detroit to see Big Sugar in Windsor back in the Nineties.
The anthem “Seven Nation Army” has to be one of the best closers for a gig.
Can’t wait until the next Jack White gig.
