I've seen about 50 shows and this was up there. Great setlist and good energy. Only complaints... Eagles Ballroom sounds like shit, these guys need to play the Riverside or Pabst. Also I hate Push the Pig, I use to hear it every other show in '02. Besides that solid show and a good time.

This was my 5th time seeing UM and I'm not going to lie this show was impressive. Higgins, dump city, Rocker Part II, Glory.. Not to mention every song on this set list was solid. $10 well spent, I can't wait for these guys to come back again! Jake playing behind his head was mind blowing.

spinephixer, you son of a....just kiddin. I wish more people would leave objective comments like that. It would make it easier for umphreaks like ourselves to scroll through the archive and download random shows. I myself have bought at least 20 from here, and don't have any complaints whatsoever, but there are definitely some I like better than others. It's ok to be objective people. 90% of people who come to umlive are avid fans and know what this band is capable of and enjoy the improv magic that occurs on stage. But they will have their off nights, and they are human..just exceptionally talented humans! To help you out and to anyone who doesn't have them, I recommend orange peel 07, filmore 07 & 08, roch 07(****), strouds 08, and fox th, CO 08(all acoustic and a must have) to just to name a few

Have you seen an UM show in Milwaukee in the last, I don't know, 5 YEARS!! This show was a fun show, no doubt, but nowhere near the level of any of the previous 5 or 6 Miltown shows.

fun show, nothing mindblowing, mamu and rastaman were cool bustouts.

granted - i was not there - and that counts for a lot with these guys...i know. but listening to this (2x so far) didn't do much for me. thought the pig was pretty flat. nothing too stellar in the dump city either (i thought). the haunt was definitely nice. obviously finally bringing out mamu was a treat. but other than that...and maybe the higgins and glory - i thought this was an off night for them (musically). i'm sure you all had a blast there, and i'm sure it was amazing if you were there. hell - i KNOW this review would be different if i was there too - but i'm speaking objectively, critically, and comparing to what i know they are capable of. just my opinion. ok...let the "you don't know shit" comments commence...

Yea so I met Jake at the canopy club and requested some mamu so u can thank me for that! It took them 789 shows to finally play it and they jammed it nasty as hell!! YEAA!! These guys are the shit! Mamu is so trippied out
