What an amazing show all around. Jake busted out the Becker and killed it "all night long." Must have been the Car Bombs. I think its the same Becker Chuck is playing from Moe now cause Jake has the rainbow one with a single coil in the neck. Tinkles was the bomb tight as hell and so perfect. Push the Pig was my favorite of the night they put a Dr Dre vibe on it and let it create space. Bum ba di da di ba da dunt dunt dunt. They kept it simple and it flowed so nice. Joel was tearing that one up. They busted a Crazy Train riff from Snucka into Peeps that was really cool. Broke down a walking bass jazz line on DBK that was sick as hell and led into Jaco tearing up Eruption and teased Shes Talking About Love VH FOREVER! Africa was nice they do that song really well. Kris and Andy were bumpin hard on Wappy and Pig holy shit balls. Some really great moments. Buy it you wont regret it!!!

This show was fantastic. IMO the best show they've had in Seattle. Wappy was incredibe.. maybe the best I've ever heard them play it and Jake was just on fire all night. He rarely missed a note and was shredding like a mad-man. Fairly rock intensive, but there were parts that slowed down a bit -- there was even a walking baseline jazz segment in DBK that was pretty cool. If you went to the show, I'd highly recommend purchasing this recording because you can hear Joel a lot better on keys than you could live. Umphrey's... I know we're in the corner of the states, but we love you here! Please try to make us more of a regular stop!

This show is another example of why umphreys is the best live band around right now. Fantastic from start to finish.

the two dudes on the left looked pretty stoned. the dude on the right was so random. all in all one of the best shows i've ever seen.

The first set was dripping with psychedelic space funk. Second set was progressive metal-rock, jamtronica-style, layered with more space funk. This show completely blew me away. The band obviously had a great time in Seattle, it was a beautiful fall day and they got to watch ND beat UW at home, and it showed. Get this show and melt your mind. The first hour was so intense I thought I was about to lift off into space. I'm pretty sure my DNA was altered at this show. Nuff said.
