I've seen lots of shows in my time Including lots of BMFS shows. Without a doubt this is among my favorite shows(& of course Billy shows too). Was super lucky to be on the rail right in front of him. That Isn't why this is one of my favorite Billy shows. From the blistering, opening Creek to the ripping Mire close the boys were tearing it all down. Billy even comments about how amazing the energy was in Saint Augustine and you can feel it coming right back at us in this amazing show. I loved this show. I lost my dad suddenly a few weeks ago, and I was listening to this show a lot and realized the first lines for the hook on “Show Me The Door” are what he always use to tell my siblings and I. Since then, it’s been on repeat. I cry every time those lines are sung — they are beautiful , heartbreaking, and healing all at once. Thank you for making music that is so dynamic and meaningful. Hope to see y’all down the road. Cheers.
