This set was a treat for the vibe tribe. Best "words" ive ever heard them do. Please come back next year.

WOOW!!!

best band I 've heard in years.

They are definitely categorized as a "jam band" but
in fat they have extremely thought out and complex
compositions. And I love them for this. They are like
YES, Boston, Yngwie Malmsteen, Deep Purple, Rush
crossbred with Phish. Great combo, my god are these guys tight

And they have such great energy.
please go see this band if you are a fan of metal, funk, jazz, neo-classical shredding & rock
it's hard to believe that influences of metal and jazz/jam funk can co-exsist. but they do,
and do so beautifully.

The Vibes show was short but sweet. And the sound was superb. I watched maybe half the set from up close then joined my friends back by the big tree. Everything was crystal clear. Was hopin` they`d drag out Derek Trucks (who preceded UM) for a play. Maybe next time...

Umphrey`s gave Vibes a very Anchor Drops heavy set with tight jams and strong performances. The set was obviously too short, as any UM show should be two hours at minimum, but Wife Soup, Words and Bridgeless in the same set made for a fantastic 90 minutes.

Let`s hope they come back to CT soon!!!
