Reviews for Widespread Panic: 11/5/2008 The Murat Centre, Indianapolis, IN

Amazingly played and the music was very improvizational. Everyone is talking about the crazy setlists they played in Milwaukee, but listen to the music that was played at this indy show, it was way more tight and jammed out. I was in Milwauee and my highlight was set 2 in INDY!!! Remember its about the music , not the setlist. I'd take the music show over getting an adverage sharon, vacation, arlene anytime! Plus Do What You Like > Jam > Drumz > TIME IS FREE!!

I slightly disagree with some of these reviews. The first set ripped. Rock>i'm not alone, better off, and the kin>sausage were awesome. I thought the 2nd set drug a bit. None of us are free and do what you like, well, they bore me. The playin in driving song, bust it big, don't wanna lose you, and of course, time is free may be worth the down load. Top 5 show, probably not. In fact, it may not be in my top 5 Indy shows. Check out deer creek '01 or '05 or murat '97 or '07. These are some really kick ass, from start to finish, indy based shows!!

Hi All, I saw WSP NOLA thru Milwaukee and enjoyed the whole run, but the tightest jamming moments came during the set 2 of this show from the Murat in Indianapolis, In. What an amzing venue and atmosphere. There were also great highlights from set 1, like "Rock > I'm not Alone" and the "Little kin > jam > Thought"! But this show is about the "Driving Song" sandwhich and "Do What You Like" and "Time is free"....Amazing moments. Another thing, most people aren't a fan of "Dont Wanna Lose You" because its always a set 1 song and never any improvisation. This version in the second set was amazing. I enjoyed hearing them jam in and out of this song! Great stuff!
