This was my first Billy Strings show and wow it didn’t disappoint. Incredible musicians and they were soooo tight. I would definitely go see them again. And what else can you say about the Palace theater a true gem.

The energy of the crowd was unmatched. I have never experienced such electricity, especially between the band and the audience. Got to make eye contact with jerrod walker in the middle of meet me at the creek where he saw me pointing and him, gave a little head nod and at that point I knew this is it. This is the peak. And there it went

I’ve been going to shows for decades and this was an instant classic. Probably top 5 concert. I was blown away by the energy Billy and the band had, and the arrangement. I’ve listened to a bunch of their shows live on nugs, but this seems to be one of the tightest out there. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better setlist.. which is rare. It’s best played in its entirety to embrace the journey. It’s all a 4 alarm fire… from “The Train that Carried My Girl from Town” that dived balls deep into “Black Mountain Rag” to “Willin””>”Dust in a Baggie!” Are you kidding?! If someone isn’t a fan after that run, they will never be. “Wargasm” that was an epic 1st set closer. The entire 2nd set was insane party time… “Big River” opener set the tone “I met her accidentally, in St. Paul, MN!” “Highway Hypnosis” was a gift from the heavens. “Wild Horses” put me over the top with my feeling of the show. I knew I’d be bias, but everything he played and then to wind down the night with that made me realize what I was witnessing was not just another show… They sound and lights peeps are masters as well…
