Coming back after 3 years and listening to this for the first blew my mind! His Alabama shows were out of this world, literally. Second set blew this show away!

Correction: Apostol. Although his guitar playing may just be a revelation for the uninitiated. Long live LIVE Music! Peacehead out!

Makes me proud to hear how he honors the Dead. I gotta believe Jerry is smiling down listening to young Mr. Apostle. And for his part, Billy lays down licks with the best of them. He can channel Delta Blues greats like Robert Johnson, southern rock Allman Brothers Band, the classic bluegrass stylings of Doc Watson/Bill Monroe, and the Psychedelic Folk of Bill Nershi’s String Cheese Incident. It is not a surprise to me that he is captured their sound as he has during this global pandemic and ignited a musical paradigm that can best be described as “living in the soul of the music” of the Grateful Dead. This artist is a virtuoso in the mold of Jerry as channeled through Doc. He’s a bass fishing, skate punk, who can play the hell out of acoustic guitar and your missing out of you don’t give this dude a listen. Peace (~);}

Extremely psychedelic second set, Spinning will leave your face on the ground in a puddle so be careful.

From a truly heartfelt rendition of Tuning right on up and through a rootin tootin version of Tennessee, the guy and the other guys really performed some true songs.
