I was there! This was a "make good" show because James had voice issues and missed the Dallas stop on the Summer Sanitarium Tour at Texas Stadium (July 9, 2000). I remember thinking they just looked like gods up on that stage!

Definitely my favorite Metallica line-up. No knock on Rob, but Jason's bass is super heavy and it's nice to hear a different voice on a verse now and then. This show was Jaymz' birthday! I didn't get any cake. Off to the next show
