Was at this show, still one of my all time favorites. Very laid back set that we almost thought was going to be all acoustic based on the first 6 songs. Beautiful venue and this recording does the show great justice.

Pretty sure everyone needs to read the book here. There is room for both of these bands. It is 100% a mood thing IMO. As for this show it rocks and I highly suggest listening to it.

MMJ has five members and Phish has four. It would be hard for Phish to kick MMJ’s ass given they are outnumbered. Plus Mike Gordon doesn’t seem like he can fight.

Different strokes for different folks regarding Phish being better than MMJ. Sure MMJ ain’t as technical or even as tight as Phish, but damn MMJ has that extra level of passion live.
