Amazing show, brought my little brother to this for his first Umphrey's show for his birthday and it completely blew him away. Crazy version of Visions of Parin... This show was a great example of Umphrey's ability to own every music style on the market: from the calmer more chill jams in parin and words to the jazzy 13 days, the classical Beethoven reference during Der Bluten Kat, and of course the heavier closing and encore with Eat and Mulche's Odyssey. The energy was there and the UMPH were on their shit the whole night (as they always are...)
Can't wait to take my brother back to the Calvin Theater again in April 09' for another great night of Umphrey's... See ya there!

Love this show. They take off right from the start. Rockin, tight. I cant get enought of the jam in Hey 19, Joel and Ryan layin it down smooth and heavy, then they all just melt together, cohesion.

AWESOME Show. First set looks a little "soft", but it was much more fun than advertised. Second set is Straight-Up HEAT! From 2nd Self on, particularly the DBK. Awesome weekend in the Northeast.
