Great showcase of TLReed's new sound. Probably my fave tlg show to listen to since the epic 03/11/05 from the Mystic Theater. Reed fits in very well, and seems to open up the low end to the same experiments in timing and tone that we've always been treated to in the higher registers. Also, Trevor seems to be working with some new effects on the organ- overall, the tone is a bit more ominous and the reverb a little cleaner. Highlights include a particularly cleansing reservoir and a baseball that pops and stretches like hot slow taffy.
