My first Billy strings show :) I was camping on rabbit ears pass and happened to have enough service to get a call from my brother. He told me some band called Billy strings is playing a free show in town and they’re getting big fast. I trust my brothers music taste with my life so I convinced my friends to make the trip down and check it out. Jeez how things have changed. I was able to go right up to the rail and still had space to groove. Met a bunch of cool people, wish I got some contact info because it’d be cool to see if everyone else hopped on the bus as I did. I didn’t know any of the songs besides the covers. Had only experienced something like this with Greensky and infamous stringsusters…but still this was just different. Love this band so much. And love hearing this old soundboard. Looking back this was such a killer show!
