Is it me or are they getting more and more intense? I think they are getting ready to take over the world.....hehehe! What can one say about the machine that is Widespread Panic? Every fan has a different interpretation of events at a certain show....for that matter,,,,overall!!! But I believe anyone that was in Columbia on this night was changed forever!!!!! They might not know exactly how to put it into words but this was a special moment at a small venue! Bullets were flying, sweat was pouring, chemicals were abundant, and the band was having a blast playing with our minds!!!! I don't want to sound bias but this was a special moment!!!! I think the fans from the NC and VA shows would agree that this was different on a lot of levels!! Happy Trails people and make sure to support WSP in every way! They are now the keepers of the light!!!!

I'll tell you how nuts this one was.....There were girls fuckin' guys in the front row and on the balcony...at least until the family members tied their shoes......this was a s far out of control as I have seen in some years! That is exactly why you need to hear it!!!

stop-go>blight>drums>drumsbass>stop-go Epic! Ophelia came out of left field. Listen to dave during blight, funny stuff.

The band is super tight now. Back on top and sending chills.
This was show #54 was like show #1 with "Major Impact". How can it get any better?

This show was pure insanity! JoJo going schizo on the keys during Blackout Blues after a rockin' Henry Parsons and Walkin' sent a clear message to the crowd that they were going to be bringing the heat! Maggot Brain was smoking and set the pace for an intense Tie Your Shoes. I was glad to get to hear Three Candles live and I think this will continue to be a treat for years to come whenever they throw it in the stew pot. Ride Me High was the highlight of the night and the crowd went absolutely ape! Blight was ridiculously nasty and Ophelia was a most pleasant surprise! Every song was smokin' but I'd get carpal tunnel going on and on about how sick they were. Just listen for yourself!

Can anyone make out what JB is rappin at about 6 minutes into the 2nd part of Stop Go?

WOW!!! I was down on the second row and it was great to see the band laughing with each other every time they tweaked the crowd a little. The crowd was already seriously tweaked and the band played into it well with teases and spacey exchanges. Maggot Brain seemed to be their way of telling the crowd that they could do anything they wanted with us on this particular night. Ride me High was just that!! Stop-go. The thumper was ILS!! A Great ride that left us Pickin Up The Pieces so we were right with The Weight of the World! All that really needs to be said is Panic brought the heat from the opening notes to the end of the show. The band laid it on thick. Columbia got TORCHED!! I also have ordered my copy......can't wait to go thru it again. They seem to be having a good time as of late and that is always a good thing! Long live Widespread Panic!!!!!!!
