The album is great start to finish. I had to listen with headphones to really get my head around the songs. Three candles, Dark day program, and Her dance needs no body sent me to another place. Thanks guys, I am very excited to hear this much creativity after all these years. See ya on tour.

I'm not a fan of Terry Manning's production on the last two albums. The horns are schmaltzy. I'm not sure this batch of songs is as strong as those on the previous nine studio efforts either, but hopefully they'll grow on me once they get road tested. Thanks for the continued efforts though anyway if you're reading. Whatever happened to "New Blue"?

Great Album... Jimmy is definitely having a major influence on the boys. Nice direction.. can't wait to see them again in ole North Carolina.

I agree with the other reviews about this album. Some of the songs will have to grow a little bit. One note; on "Tickle the Truth," Jimmy seems way too low in the mix. GOOD JOB GUYS. The title track gives me chills and tears at the same time b/c it makes me think of where I am in my life and a girl whom I care about a lot. Thanks guys for the great effort and again exploring new ground.

Good luck this year on the road!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the new album. I agree some songs have to grow on you, but damn it I love how this sounds! It's very different from any other album I've heard, but I love that the boys aren't afraid to keep it fresh and new and try new things. I get completely lost in Dark Day Program and Her Dance Needs No Body. Dark Day Program is definitely one of my favorites. The music and the lyrics for that (and the rest of the album) is just beautiful. That's the best way I can describe it. I can see them incorporating these songs into shows very well and I can't wait to hear them all live! Great job guys and thank you so much again from the bottom of my heart! See you in the Spring!
