Great one-set Butter show opening for the String Cheese Incident. The bands tour bus broke down the day before the Greek show in Nevada. They had to rent a U-Haul, and a 10 person van to make it on time. This, coupled with the publicity of this show, made it such a treat to see them playing on a hot Sunday afternoon. I really enjoyed their set, and this day was special in many ways. I remember the band taking a shot of tequila during Honkytonk Tequila, around 1:15PM! The crowd was raging and it was really nice to see how many people showed up this early in the day. To finish the set, they played an excellent version of Cumberland Blues, which is also being played on Sirius Radio.
If you liked this set, then you definitely should consider picking up a copy of Live in the Northeast, which is their latest live album. Also, make sure to check Butter out live in your town this winter!
