You guys are crazy if you think that Umphrey should have been the main act. Umphrey is awesome I love them, but right now there are no where near the fan base of DMB. When Umphrey came to milwaukee in 07 at the Rave (max 3,000 people) , they didnt even sell out. If they did it was last second ticket buyers. I know this because I bought UM tickets that day, they show was on. DMB sells out Alpine Valley 36,000 + fans. So shut your mouths, you have to earn respect in this business and right now there awesome, but no way near Dave. sorry, I wish they could sell out Alpine, but they can`t.

I would be the first to say that umphreys should have played longer. But with all do respect, I LOVE Umphrey`s Mcgee as much as any other Umphreak. But the fact of that matter is, the right band headlined. I loved to see umphrey`s open, in fact I drove to Alpine Valley last year to see it. But People came to see DMB, with Umphreys as an EXTREMELY nice addition.

Although both nights were cut short, both sets were extremely solid. The Immigrant Song was amazing...I must say I went nuts when I heard "AAAHHHH, AAAHHHH"!

You guys came up BIG back home. Keep up the good work!

I am a bit late getting on the bus, but I am here! This was my first UM show, I bought tickets to this event BECAUSE I wanted to see UM.... DMB was a nice addition, but I agree with the other reviews, Umph should`ve played a LOT longer! I will be looking forward to catching a real show soon!

i found myself saying it all weekend during the shows and i`ll say it again. absolutely nothing against dmb, but with all due respect the wrong band opened. i can go to my grave happy. i finally got to hear umphrey`s play immigrant song!

pretty fun show, i`m glad you guys put this up on here! i called the Bridgeless (have witnesses!), which was a great way to show the DMB fans what`s up. of course it would ahve been much to my liking if dave played for 45 minutes and UM played a 2 set show, but i`ll take what i can get. see y`all at the Canopy!

much better than the night before, partyin` peeps was definately the way to kick it off, i was actually bankin on a partyin` peeps or a hangover opener. the bridgeless was sweet as was the haji>plunger>immigrant song. the disrespect from most dave fans toward umphrey`s left me utterly disgusted though...
