Reviews for The Tragically Hip: 11/27/2004 John LaBatt Centre, London, ON

WOW
It`s been almost 3 months since the show and I`m still hyped over it. Once again the Hip killed it. 3 Encores and everyone still wanted more. Long Time Running was great to hear and Little Bones was a great way to end the show. The only down side was the over the top security kid who was killing the smoke and the JLC policy on beer. To Gord and the boys thanks for another great show, As alive and entertaining as ever. Peace in the Middle East.

I hope that the Tragically Hip`s Halifax concert (Dec. 5, 2004) will be available. It was amazing..blew me away!! They came back for 3 encores! Great sound, lots of energy!. Thanks

brilliant..what else can i say...sure gords voice cracks a few times, but the soul..the passion..it`s all there..and i have to say long time running gives me chills...locked is mind-blowing, gord even belts out a tune from the show "oliver" at the end of it..new orleans hasn`t sounded this good in years, daredevil with the "hiccups" instrumental leading into it!! i have to go listen to it again!!

Not the greatest set of the tour. hopefully winnipeg will be released. i saw the band here in phoenix and thought they had lost something when i saw them. This show has proven me wrong thank god. This show kicks ass. the set list is very solid and the band is really on. Gord goes off like I like him to. Bobby is on fire. Very solid. The band sounds loose. The mix is terrific. Paul`s vocals are very audible and mixed perfectly with Gord. Lots of great antics by Gord. Every rant can be heard!!!! This is a show well worth the money. I am so glad I did.

Myself along with about 12,000 other Manitobans are still waiting for the Winnipeg concert to be put up for sale! It was by far the BEST setlist of the tour and I don`t think Gordie has ever put on a performance like that before. You won`t regret it!!

I have worked at the John Labatt Centre since it opened in October 2002. This said I have seen a lot of concerts here, but never gone to one. I HAD to go to The Tragically Hip. My brother and I are members of the Hip Club, but missed out on presale tickets. The Monday before the concert we scored tickets in section 105. I absolutely love The Hip, and this concert was by far the best I have ever heard or seen. I have over a hundred pictures from the show. The Joel Plaskett Emergency were great as well. I hope I don`t have to wait 6 years for The Hip to come back to my hometown.

The Flac files sound fantastic and I really enjoyed hearing the London show. The Ottawa show has a decent setlist but I enjoyed the London show more. Any Hip fan would want to buy both though, I`ll definetly be listening to them for a long time.
