I've seen cheese, I've seen wsp. The main difference, hula hoops, light sticks, authentic freaks uninhibited in their enjoyment. So what's the problem?
I was turned on to cheese in the parking lot of a 99' wsp red rocks show by some dredded chicks who where looking for a ticket. Apples and oranges. Just enjoy the "live ride", a good thing doesn't come to town too often.
On these shows. Stellar. I enjoyed hearing the old stuff. (since i lost track of panic from 2002 while dancing my ass off to cheese). Heck, I liked these shows so much, I had to get copies...
old zep,dead,phish,sci,wsp,moe,british blues fan...

just dance dammit

The Everyday Companion, invariably true to its just-the-facts-Jack reporting and compiling, may need to utilize a new term: "the weave." Sure, "The End" rap by JB could be considered just that, an EC traditional "rap." But have a listen as JB actually SINGS from the Book of Morrison while the band keeps perfect time free for the Bell. As for the weave, "Riders On The Storm" is well beyond just a tease. Typically, a tease involves one or two musicians. The transition around 11:34 leads the entire band into "Riders," and then the Bell singularly weaves "Time Is Free" back over the riders. All are free to pick their terms, but this sounds like Galaxy Class weaving to me. Loveland must have been elevated another 4,982 ft above sea level. When listening, I actually feel genuine concern for some the experienced CO fans. They can handle the elements better than most, but this is pure California Voodoo.

hey bigriver panic, you are a fucking idiot. You hated these shows with the greatest live rock and roll band since the Grateful Dead. It shows how low your IQ is dumb ass. Widespread is the greatest rock and roll band touring today. FUCK STRING CHEESE INCIDENT. ROCK ON WIDESPREAD MOTHERFUCKING PANIC. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a killer show, all those slamming SCI should really move on. WP and SCI are great bands. I don`t dig a lot of bands, but I will refrain from bashing them on this site. WP is having a killer tour and a new album in the works. I`m a happy fan thats always looking for the next jam.

I thought this was to post comments about how the PANIC shows were this weekend...not how much cheese sucks, or how much cheese heads hate panic...get a fucking life, man...both are great bands to see live and the purpose of this blog is not to bash anyone for that matter...I thought both nights were GREAT and I`ve never heard a "nobody`s fault but mine"...blown away. I love seeing these guys in a smaller venue as well. Hats off to the event center in Loveland! What a great weekend!! Thanks again guys, look forward to summer `08
