Although many might musically liken Widespread Panic to the Grateful Dead or The Allman Brothers, this band can just as easily fill the footsteps of Big Brother and The Holding Company, at least in a very literal sense.

I am surprised to see the 9/27 tops this show for the last 30 days. This was the best show of the three nights - right up there with the MGM show last Halloween.

If you wanted to you could start at the very end of this show and work backwards from there. Cream Puff War. An insane version of one of the Grateful Dead`s most insane songs they never played after the 60`s. Are you kidding me? This theater was gorgeous. This band made it twice as beautiful. Don`t over scrutinize this shit. Just go to the next show near you. The band is rocking out really hard. Just for you. Go.

...not to mention a nasty, nasty Postcard>Cream Puff encore. They were getting serious.

Ouch! My face was officially melted right off of my head during this show. Bowlegged>Impossible>Proving Ground? Are you fucking kidding? Some of the hottest Panic I`ve seen in YEARS. I think it`s safe to say that the boys are back, keeping all of us smiling.

A beautiful venue -- love that the band is playing old theaters on this tour (and last) -- the second set turned up the heat -- no JB rap during Bowlegged but the jam was nasty nasty Panic -- the encore was perfect.
