Reviews for The String Cheese Incident: 8/12/2007 Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, CO

This was the most amazing cheese I have ever seen, whoever said that it was the "worst" show obviously has never seen cheese. This was a FIRST RATE performance and they really showed how much they have appreciated us fans over the years, if Red Rocks had a roof, it would have been blown off no question. It was sad to see the end of my favorite band but they really did go out in style with an amazing experience for all the senses. Thank you Billy, Michael, Michael, Keith, Jason and Kyle for a truly unforgettable experience, like the song goes, there are good times around the bend. I hope to see ya`ll again in the future for one last incident.

What an impact String Cheese has made on my life! I am so grateful that I was able to make the last four shows as the boys have never been better. Made the difficult decision to forego my annual Horning`s pilgrimage to make Red Rocks. The magical beauty that is Red Rocks, another great effort from Peak Productions and some of the best music SCI has ever played all combined for a weekend I will never forget. Thank You String Cheese for helping me to realize what an impact a band and the wonderful people that follow them can accomplish when values like family, community, love and peace all come together. I love you all and will miss you until we meet again (PLEASE)!

I only went to this show of the four nights they were back home at Red Rocks, but it was no doubt a great decision to go to this one. The show was no question the best show i have ever been too. When they brought keller out, my head exploded. I listened to way back home today and started to tear up. I already miss you guys! hope to see you soon at the next family reunion!

THANK YOU CHEESE!!! Great energy, great sets, great crowd. I teared up bad during Shine. Going to miss these guys like something fierce. Thank you SCI for `the way you do the things you do.`

I can`t believe I wasn`t there for the last shows!!! I got really turned on at Horning`s Hideout in `04, which was my first show(3 shows really) and saw them every year since then in Oregon, which were all three night runs!! When my buddy who took me to my first SCI run saw Phish`s final run I vowed then and there I would be at the last SCI run!! Damn, it was Hornings or Red Rocks, so I picked the place that changed my life forever, Hornings Hideout!! Anywho, thanks a million to the band and everyone involved, especially Peak Experience Productions, who throw an amazing Incident, for all the fun I`ve been able to have enjoying not only the best band and live act I`ve ever seen but also for opening my eyes to a whole new world inside of the Crazy world we live in now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
String Cheese Incident, thank you!

I`m in the process of listening to the download of the last Cheese show - at least for a while - and the whole thing is a bit sad.

I keep thinking to myself "This is the last SCI show I`ll ever download." "This is the last live SCI song I`ll ever download".

The music is, of course, as good as it gets - but the emotions surrounding listening to what may be the last live performances ever are hard to reconcile with the happy upbeat music.

These final four shows - and especially Sunday`s grand finale - combined with the three shows I made it to at Horning`s - are likely the best this band has ever sounded - with the widest repertoire of music, incredible guest musicians, and a band that cares to make the last few notes sound as amazing as possible. This band enabled the community that developed around this band, and this community enabled the band that developed around this community.

It was, for a while, surreal and sublime.

Best wishes to the band and to the community. May we reunite again sometime soon!
