Great show. Goin` Out West really set the tone as the sun went down for an incredible night. Disco>Blight was great. Jimmy was on fire. Dave was choppin some nice riffs on the bass. Best show I`d seen until Sunday night...these are must d`loads.

I downloaded the FLAC last night (7/12/07) and the Guilded is fully intact and does sound so very good.

I had heard other versions of this show from the various tapers online and wasn`t satisfied with the sound because it was windy and it`s hard to get a good tape without having that phase effect (swirling) in the sound. This vibrant soundboard solves that problem - excellent job by soundman Chris Rabold and crew on getting the band having one of those special nights.

After an absolute deluge cancelled the first show at The Backyard near Austin TX, the boys come out ready to play. JB remarks as they tune up for Set 1, "Today is a new day". And they proceed to play one of their finest performances of the Jimmy Herring era.

From the first notes of And It Stoned Me to the choice encore of Papa`s Home, the music has a vitality that shows this latest version of Widespread Panic having a great night. Jimmy even leads the band in some stretches, his playing more integrated and assured than even the Spring `07 Tour where many epic shows were played.

The first set really takes off with Pigeons and doesn`t look back. The second set is pure WSP heat with jams in almost every song. Bust It Big, Blight and Tie Your Shoes show a confident group that can take the music to a higher level. The post-drum portion of the show doesn`t disappoint either.

As a matter of fact, this show reminds me a good bit of the Asheville 4/13/07 monster (though the feel in this show isn`t quite as dark).

If you want to get a good idea of what "Jimmy Panic" is capable of nowadays I recommend you download this show.

We loved this show! but also got only 1:46 of guilded splinter. Hope it is fixed soon. How do I find out when it is fixed?

Both shows are unreal - end of story - more of a review later but my concern is the is missing splinter - not gonna download it unless it is the full show and hate dealing with etree and all the other free sites - would rather give my money to the boys. Tie your shoes was sick- Papa`s best since mikey - the whole thing just ripped and they were working hard on stage while having a good time - truly the gratfule dead of my generation and I am 34 - but with their own stamp and style. thanks very much for such a good time - flew in from Sonoma County,Ca to see my best buddy in Austin and we went to all 3 and got a great 2.Cheers
