After the high energy of the night before, the cheese came back with a totally different spin on this show. More spacy and exploratory, Kang really hit some great highs on this show. The band coming out and playing to the Dead recording of Shakedown was just fantastic! Also, the buildup at the end of 2nd set into Jessica was perfect. The second percussionist really puts a new dimension into the band, Jason Hann is a great addition.

I have to send an enormous THANK YOU to Michael Kang for hanging out after the show with some fans. I am a huge fan and really appreciate how graciously he let people take pictures, sign autographs, etc. He is truly a class act and you can really respect and admire the way he handles the fame.

Although I liked the the 10/29 show better, many people at the entire run preferred night 2 at UIC. The entire Halloween run is a MUST HAVE in any collection.

The amazing thing is that neither show was sold out. This band is SO ON THE TOP OF THEIR GAME right now, and there is not the obnoxious abundance of people who just come for the party, YET. Of the few dozen shows I have seen of theirs since 1999 I have never once had a bad show. Every single show has been either good or great. I cannot say the same for any other band.

WOW! This was my first Cheese show and man are they awesome! This is one group of awesome musicians. They have so much talent. I plan on going to many more of thier shows.

This was my first SCI show. I was very impressed. I had heard many live shows but nothing compares to actually being there. The entire show was filled with much energy. After the set break when they intigrated into the set break with Shakedown Street, the whole place exploded. Can`t wait till my next SCI show!!!!

this show was amazing, this was my first SCI show, but compared to the phish show i went to this summer this was amazing. i honestly have never seen or heard such musical talent, or anything like that at all for that matter, EVER. this show is amazing, coming from shakedown street into the second set was the coolest thing i`ve ever seen. it was so amazing i kind of just stood there with my mouth open, amazed at what had just happened. and then they played outside and inside>jessica, which, being my first show, was the highlight. also, the encore, SO LONG i loved every minute of that show. i can`t wait for the next time they come around here
