Philly Run 2017: Day One.
My first Biscuit show of 2017 and I'm happy to say it's all I could have hoped for. The New Year's Run had some great moments, but overall I was a bit disappointed. Now this show is what that run should have been like. Well thought out, even thematic, especially on the very Floydian first set. Set two is just as good with the return of "Portal to an Empty Head" and an epic "Highwire". The band sound ready for the bigger time, I'm not sure how much bigger a band that plays 20 minute spacey jamband rock can get, but I guess I'll just wait around and see.
