Bisco Inferno 2016: Day Two.
Allen Aucoin's birthday show, and you really couldn't ask for a better one. Also the best in person Bisco show I have been to yet. The first set is just classic after classic. I was playing "Stone" > "The Devil's Waltz" all the way to Colorado so I couldn't believe when they played that first. Then to follow that up with another favorite in "Mulberry's Dream" and a wild 20 minute "Catalyst".
Be hard to top that but set two comes close. The band start out with a kind of Meter's style funk jam that rolls into "Trucker's Choice" and then into the live favorite "Digital Buddha". A wild and wooly set with some nice electronic parts. To top it all off another favorite of mine in "Rockafella"! That is the song that really got me into the Biscuits and this version was superb. The encore sounds a little uninspired but all in all one of 2016's best shows!
