Crazy show!!! Kyle was a mad SCIentist! Awesome Concrete Jungle jam> Bumpin Reel!!!

This was another great Vegoose Incident for all the reasons already discussed: stage set-up; song selection; energy levels (both band and crowd); and acrobats! Among the songs, I seem to be drawn again and again to the Little Hands> Concrete Jungle> Bumpin Reel jam. Sound quality is terrific. Not sure about everyone`s assumption that SCI will expire post-Nershi. We`re all sorry to see him go, but the band`s announcement doesn`t indicate that SCI will split up; rather, they have not announced plans for any shows after Summer 2007. I think they typically do not announce their tour dates more than a few months in advance, and they are likely keeping plans quiet out of respect for Billy. SCI has many miles left to travel, in weird and wonderful directions. Can`t wait to be there.

WOW! What a great time and VIBE! The band came out in gorilla suits head to toe and opened with a childhood favoite "hey hey were the monkeys" dropping inflatible monkeys and tossign thousnads of glow sticks everywhere then they kept the jungle theme popping all night lacing jungle related tunes everywhere. Did I mention I LOVE THIS BAND!!!!

I can`t believe after witnessing that kind of togeherness and unspoken connectivity that the band woudl be calling it quits just days later. We have so much more to learn from these guys and the special vibe they bring where ever the go.

I Loved the whole show begin to end with an awesome encore "doin my time" and "darly" to end such a great and unforgettable night!!!!

Guys please consider keeping the dream alive even if it`s a side project for now, there is nothing like you and you can`t be replaced.

9 More SHows. Bring Back Jon - O!

This show was definatley the highlight of the vegoos festivel. even friends who usually like STS9 more than cheese could not help but admit cheese brought the most energy and gave the best performance of the festivle. the boys were on! the recording is top notch too, buy this one for sure. When listening to the recording it takes me all the way back to vegas (i live in colorado) but, also upon hearing the leave of billy it brings an eire feeling to me to listening to it. Cheese brought the most energy to the scene and got the most energy from it, and its sad to think about the end, but im not sad because its over, just happy it happened. So thank you very much for 14 years of great times Billy, Mike, Mike, Keith, Kyle, and Jason. hopefully some other band can bring the energy like you did.

Wow, all I can say, is I feel sorry for any Vegoose attendees that missed this show, and I`m especially grateful to have made it after the news of Billy`s departure. I really feel like the band is going down in their prime. It`s very sad, but the direction their music was headed was definitely not in Billy`s favor. This show was the best concert production I have ever seen, the stage, theme, and music , more than blew me away. I`m still having a hard time coming back to reality from the show and also coming to grips with the possible end? They really take care of their fans, and thank you for many great incidents, and thanks for the autographed gorilla Jason, and Keith, thanks for hooking my wife up with an autograph at Salt Air, you made her a very happy girl... Also, if anyone else has any good pics of the stage backdrop, please send them my way (mystic_snows@hotmail.com) they didn`t come up with anything on this site to give the ambience of the scene justice....

Well now, After meeting the band for a preshow beverage and meet and greet i thought the energy was good. When the gorilla boys hit the stage I lost it! Pompei meets the Banana Splits! Micky, Davy, Peter and Mike would have been proud! Deep groovy jams. Oh by the way Axel is back! More Cowbell! More Fire! You`re gonna Die listening to this one! Thank you SCI for keeping the flame burning strong through the the many long time musical families that met together this weekend! If you were there you know what I am saying. If not, invest in a classic rock concert for your collection. Yyou will not be sorry....-Kelly Smith, aka Dr. Buggles, aka The Backstage Mohawk Man. Love ya!
