Reviews for The String Cheese Incident: 10/13/2006 Warner Theatre, Washington, DC

   definitely worth a listen...  (10/15/2006 1:31:58 PM)

dearest tom... not once did i doubt or question the quality of the show. great thanks to cheese for giving their all for such a stellar performance! definitely enthusiasic and electric jams, but please note last weekend`s (and the weekend before) setlists. `round the wheel is so powerful, but overplayed this tour. mouna bowa and sometimes a river have also become staples for the weekend shows. if you`d been to any of the other 2-night runs, it would be impossible to miss the deja vu... but no matter what the setlist, cheese can never go wrong.

Lackluster? No Way! Recycled Cheese? You are on tour? Maybe you should sit out a few shows, especially since it is too expensive for you to get to DC - Take a break, give yer tix to someone who cares, and come back in a few years - it sounds like you see the Boys a little TOO much. This was my favorite incident, from both coasts and the southwest, and I`ve been seeing them since 1996. Set list was AWESOME, The Band was INTO it, and the crowd was GROOVIN, though a bit tired from Thur night.

No one wants recycled cheese! Great venue, but lackluster sets and crowd. Please dont penalize those of us on tour. It`s time-consuming and expensive to get to D.C just to hear the same weekend setlists.

First set was so weak, I don`t even understand the organization...it was an alright set list selection but there was no jams or feeling in any of the songs. but set 2 the boys came out and brought it. dark, intense serious jams, set 2 is definatly worth the download!!

I first saw String in October 2000 at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. Then I thought they were crazy awesome, but now six years later they continue to blow my mind and I hope the music never stops. My girl and I drove 3 hours to get to this show and it was totally worth risking falling asleep at the wheel on the way home! Thank you for another great night and memory! Long live the Cheese!

First Incident for me and I was blown away. I couldn`t remember having so much fun at a show EVER, and was gettin my groove on big time. Crowd was great as was the vibe. There were a few futile attempts to keep folks out of the ailes but that subsided as the show went on. I`d say (all-in-all) that was the most laid back Security I`d ever seen, I thought they were great.

I`ve been seeing shows since the late 70`s and can`t remember (apart from a few Dead shows and Jazzfest) of having such a great frickin time. Can`t wait till next time....

Thank you , thank you , thank you . Took a few newbies to this show and they were all floored . One old Deadhead compared it to his first Dead show with the same kind of energy , vibe and love all around the Warner . I personally had not seen a show here since Jerry Garcia back in the late 70`s . Cheese continues to blow my mind some 40 some shows later !

ahh!!! what an awesome night!!!! warner theatre is such a beautiful venue, but kinda sucks for a show where you`re trying to get your groove on! they made a hell of an attempt to keep us in our seats though! but i grooved all night, it was thick! grooved me to the bone! the energy was buzzing, the family was kind, the vibe was electrifying...
beautiful show, boys!
