1st time seeing Jimmy "Guitar" Herring with the boys since Horde tour ARU>WSP segues. I was in a great mood after the Outformation opening set ... saw JB, DAS, and Herring also enjoying their sound. WSP absolutely nailed the Legba opener ... left me satisfied that all was well in Panicland (I hated the notable tension at the last shows I saw this summer pre GMACs departure) and let me relax to enjoy the rest of the show. Other highlights for me 1st Set were the well played Hereos and Weight of the World. Fishwater also sounded great, but the fireworks really flew during the solid 2nd Set. Better Off really got the crowd into it and the Pigeons let us feel like we would "know the truth". If you have an hour to kill and feel like listening to some great WSP just push play and listen to the Diner through the Hatfield (must admit I am an Everyday fan). Solid playing and quite a bit of soul comes through. Just listen to JB talking about watching "Rat Patrol" and "Polly bringin` by the six pack of PBR"!!!

Herring...it must be nice to be bursting at the seams with ideas, i.e. "Diner," and "Fishwater," and everything else the guy plays on. New fan (I bought Ball when it came out, but Herring, being my favorite guitarist, brought me in)but I am digging the sound.
