holy god. this show is rediculous. the holden, diner, pleas, and low spark are highlights plus a sick 2nd manchester jam. THis is the best panic show ihave seen. period. the mix sounds wonderful as well

Only my 3rd Panic show, after seeing them headline nights 2 & 3 at Bonnaroo 2005. Drove 3+ hours each way, and it was worth it. Thin Air was a real strong opener, and the energy keeps up throughout the first set. The second set was like Christmas Day...all good presents and some real surprises, particularly the Low Spark/Climb to Safety sandwich. I have already listened to the SBD start to finish, and I know this will be a favorite for years to come.

The Low Spark is what you want, as well as the 2nd Manchester jam. Dave throws down a little more funk then ususal. JoJo makes a mistake and throws off Big Wooley, but other than that a solid show. You can definitely hear a change in Jimmy`s playing already. Cant wait for dirty southern Panic.

Well doggie, this is the first show for me with Jimmy jamming on the ax, he jams. Diner would be the true test, he passed bigtime. New sound here, let`s give credit where it`s due, George jammed his ass off, I will miss his awsome slide work. I`m looking forward to many more shows to come. WSP rules the world of jambands. Keep jamming America. Eastcoast Phil. TCBRN. Simpsonville, SC. 9-25-06.

The first set was actually uniformly stronger than the second so colonelburnel has some amazing listening in store. With Jimmy Herring on board the band achieved "lift off" early on and never came down from there, building to incredible peaks like "The Low Spark of High Heel Boys" in the second set. The band seemed to be celebrating a resurrection with the addition of Jimmy Herring with big smiles and laughter coming from Dave Schools and John Bell as playing becmae "play" once again. Herring was like an eagle flying above and beyond the powerhouse foundation the rest of the band was creating hour after hour. Auditorium was one third to one half full, but the energy being fired back at the band was pinned at 10. Manchester is a unique non-packed non-hysterical place to catch groups. Many do their best work there. In 40+ years of concert going one of the four best I`ve ever seen. Do download it!!

I was at the opening show in Radio City and this show and WOW what a difference, the 9/14 show was good but this show was off the hook and I missed most of the first set so this review is based on mainly the second set. It`s funny the place was basically empty but those in attendance were really pumped and load. Alot more energy in this crowd than the Radio City crowd. DL this show for the second set, one of the best I`ve heard and I`ve been seeing Panic since 92.
