Man, what a human Billy is. I feel blessed I’m alive at the same time he is. To put this show on after his mom passing and how he framed it. He’s a real one and damn close to achieving whatever it is we souls are hoping to achieve. Sending love to him and to each one of you, fam.

At the dawn of Grassfire, a couple from Kentucky pulled up to the campsite next to ours and asked if the spot was taken, it’s all you brother. I had some Billy streaming from one of the previous shows…. St. Augustine if memory serves me correct. Mitch and ‘Nessa have been family ever since. So happy for our family reunion at the Rupp, we got to our seats about 5 minutes before the start when my son looks over a section and sees Mitch and ‘Nessa right as the house lights drop. We were all a little late getting into Lex Friday and looked to have a solid hang Saturday. Of all the places they could have been…. Billy delivered those kind words for his mom and we walked over and just embraced one another collectively. One of those moments I’m not sure I’ll ever forget. Of course the last Billy show is usually the best show you’ve ever been to :-) Jared works so hard on MME@tC in the background of the mix. Maybe you’ve seen this, if not check it next time. Love all you rambunctious kids! Grassfire!
