What the older crowd needs to understand is just like they have seen the Dead for three or four decades or have seen Phish since 1993, Goose and Billy Strings is about to be those bands for this generation. Trey didn’t pass a torch because he doesn’t have to, it’s just a stamp of approval and a desire to jam with a sick band. Incredible from Goose, Trey is already the artist of the year. If you don’t like it well, nobody really cares at all to be honest lol have fun missing out

If you’re dumb enough to compare bird bands to rando bands (Spafford, aqueous, dopapod) your opinion doesn’t matter and you should be grateful you’re just alive at to be able to hear them all.

Elmeg, Rockdale, Red Bird, Arcadia, Creatures… this show is packed top to bottom with transcendent jams. The feeling in the room when Trey dropped into his first solo on Hungersite was electric—everyone, crowd and band, knew something special was happening. So fun to see Rick not only trade licks but have a full on conversation with Trey. One for the books for sure.
