I was there, about 20 feet to the right of tower 4. JBS and the Dark Clouds lit the place on fire and melted faces during their 75 minutes (which probably seemed like a warm up to them). They definitely upped the energy level and in my opinion, had an effect on Dead and Co. Don’t get me wrong, Billy Strings was great the night before as the opener but it’s like comparing camping fuel to nitroglycerine. Third time I’ve seen them this year. Sturgill puts his heart into the vocals and the music every time. The band are pros.
