it's sooooo nice to finally get some houser. I kind of got away from panic after houser passed because it was just never the same for me. I saw many shows in 2000 and thought it was one of there best years. This is a smoking show from begining to end. pleas keep the archives coming. New years 97 at the fox theatre would be a great second release. love you guys and thanx soooo much.

Eleven bucks is a steal for this release. The band has finally answered the calling and released profesionally recorded versions of their best work. This show is full of energy, improvisation, and everything that makes this band great. Nothing against audience recordings, but its nice to finally hear Houser's guitar outside of solos. Great mix.
Here's to many, many more to come. (5/1/99 please)

Got my copy yesterday around 2:00, have not stopped jamming since. This is a great show, I see why it was picked as the first archive release. The music is tight and smooth, Mike's lead is amazing, the Low Spark is off the chain, Jack is the best I have ever heard. Looking forward to lots of great shows in the future, I'm glad the Vault is there for us. The band has buried treasure for all of us to share in the future, keep jamming America. Coconut Phil. What a weird world we live in! I logged in to this so I could be a part of what I thought was going to be a great celebration......little did I know I would be the first to post a review!! I am honored!!!! It is about time Panic put out an archived release!!!!! It should help the finance part of the machine>>> and a fine release it is!!!!!!!! I am pleased to note that Houser is in top form....not to take any props from the rest of our heros....but he sounds great with the mix by Keane!!! Currently it is 4:30 am and I am still working my way through it but I did a quick run through and of particular note......Genesis ( Thank you Jorma )...Rock is good but I have been pleasured by a more expansive trip.....Walk On is always nice to hear......BUT the trip through no man's land is the meat!!!! Airplane > Low Spark > Drums>> D & Bass > Maggot Brain..........OH SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ChillY explodes and the rest is history!!!!!!!!!!! I hope all who read this are giving a high five to the fact that the machine that is Widespread Panic is still cooking from Moma's kitchen!!!!!! THANK YOU! For all of the hard work and great times!!!!!
