Grandfather Time has taken Widespread Panic to new places; and it feels good.

My God, this is what I`ve been waiting for! Lost my face so many times that weekend. Stood in awe of Herring`s fingers working their magic on the big screens. Nastiest Rebirtha I`ve ever heard. ATL was nasty. Strong encore. And the reintroduction of L.a.! Hell, Jimmy brings so much freshness to the band and challenges the other five, it`s as if my favorite band has a new lease on life. Can`t wait for Charleston and New Years!

Mikey (RIP), George, Jimmy, John . . . it doesn`t matter. Panic is Panic, no matter what the occasion, venue, tour or season. We are blessed to be living in this time, when the truth is music and music is Panic. It gets better every f`ing time.

I`ve been following this band for 10 years and there is a huge spark of life back in the boys!! Best shows I`ve seen since the Houser days. I think Mikey can finally look down and smile!

Jimmy F-ing Heering need I say more, Seriously an LGDTB opener and an LA, this was my 48th show and the last time I felt this in touch with the band was when Mikey was alive. As much as I hate to say it good luck George, thanks but no thanks!!!! The Old Panic is back and as strong as ever. But seriously coming out of drums the second night I remarked "Is that Schools, it almost sounds like thunder" it was. Thanks for the Riders guys i`ve been looking for that since my first show when I got a Low Rider opener. Closing with a Makes Sense to Me is obviovsly an honor seeeing is that how 12/31/03 was closed. Two great NC nights. If I didnt know any better I`d think we were back on track.
