the Cortez of 05, this fine evening with Widespread Panic may very well have been the "it" show that the boys have been looking for since Michael Houser`s passing...words cannot describe the beauty and serenity of this show. New life sprung into songs that are well overplayed on tour (Parsons, Tall Boy), and C Brown shows us that JB still has "it". The Highway to Heaven mixed into Diner is a chill from the past that I will never forget and a further testimony of this band`s soul, spirit, and direction! If there was ever a show that should be on DVD, this is it! Hope to see the boys back in 06, and maybe one day a setlist that resembles this: The Earth Will Swallow You>Spirit in the Sky>Tall Boy, Highway to Heaven>Franklin`s Tower,You Should Be Glad> Gimme>Wish You Were Here

kick ass show. can`t decide if i like the variety of the thirty first or the more spaced out thirtieth better. first shows since mikey where i`ve thought "well goddamn, the boys are definitely back". too bad no spring tour, though they`ll probably hit up jazzfest.
