ha ha, if you turn it up at the end of "United States", when Billy's introducing the band, you can hear some guy in the audience shout "Where's Iha?"

Not quiet perfect yet... the transition from Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun to We Only Come Out At Night is wrong.

Well, how about sending an email to those of us who purchased it with a notification and new download link???

They just fixed the problems in Roctopus and G.L.O.W! Now the show is flawless :)

Steve wrote: "Pearl Jam's official releases were excellent and cheaper." You are correct, but they did it on their own and not through nugs.net.
However, some fine examples of other bands that are part of the network and offer CHEAPER and BETTER sounding recordings are Widespread Panic (three discs of excellent quality FLAC for $15.95!), Counting Crows (FLAC for $12.95), The Black Crowes (great sounding FLAC for $14.95) and Metallica with their fantastic sounding FLAC's at an astounding $12.95 and usually posted within 48 hours of the show. Let's hope SP get's their act together, because this is indeed a godsend for us rabid fans.

I'm looking forward to some nice archival releases too, that will hopefully sound better than those 2000 tour radio shows Steve mentioned.
For $17.95 a pop for the FLAC's we should be getting nothing less than perfection.

I purchased the Toronto 11/3 show in FLAC format last night and am just now getting a chance to listen to it closely.
There are problems with Disc #1, Track #1 (goes silent from 4:29-4:41) and Disc #1, Track #3 (distortion and silence from 2:47-2:50) and I'm only into the fourth track.
Hopefully these are the only problems I'll encounter, but are you going to correct these and email purchasers when that happens? If not, the some type of partial refund should be due.
This is the second of the three shows posted with known problems so far, and it is making me hesitant to make future purchases with this kind of quality control.
I've not heard or talked to anyone that's heard the Cleveland 11/1 show yet, so I don't know if that one is okay, but it seems livesmashingpumpkins.com is off to an inauspicious start.

This was a realy great show, but unfortunately this isn't a solid recording. From the cut-out during Roctopus, you can tell that this appears to be a soundboard recording, but what a poor one! There is also a full cut-out of sound during G.L.O.W. Overall, the drums sound distant and weak, and you can barely distinguish the guitar solos throughout the entire show. It's a real shame, too, as this was a really great performance, and Billy was ripping into his guitar. I've heard fan-generated soundboard recordings from their '2000 tour that sound better than this. Despite this, it's probably the best recording we'll get, so BUY IT!

First of all... thank you Pumpkins for joining the growing crowd who release live shows for the fans! It really is a cool thing to do. Second, the setlists are amazing and the performance on this show is top notch and outstanding. It's the Pumpkins I've forked out money to see numerous times. High energy and rawking like usual. The band is on fire.
Now, the downside... I was disappointed in the quality of the recording. For $17.95 I would expect a clear recording with good definition and clarity and frankly, this is not it. It sounds muffled and the drums get lost when the band is at full force. I have heard better quality bootlegs of the band (the shows from 2000 spring to mind). The mix just does not cut it for this price range. Pearl Jam's official releases were excellent and cheaper.
So, if you are looking for a great performance and setlist... this is it! If you want excellent quality, this is not it.
