The first two songs were mere openers but the Jack Straw and a rainbow launched this show into the stratosphere. Way up in section 320 the sound quality was OUTSTANDING. I predicted Jack Straw to open and almost opened and also said Terrapin Station had Tobe in the second set which h there wasn't butwe got enough Dead : Terrapin Estimated OtherOne Wheel and incredible Morning Dew this was an all time Philly spectacular ! Let it rock guys !

Spectacular fucking show, I was on the fence about Mayer when this incarnation started 6 years ago along with other people. I decided to do DC and just see. I could tell there was something special about him that night during The Other One. I ended up going to Greensboro the following week or whenever it was and that show just confirmed my thoughts. Each tour they got a little better. But this right here is something to truly behold. He is not hanging back looking all the time when to get cued from Bobby. He has gone full blast and broken that fucking leash. He is taking control now and taking his jams where he wants them. It's been a long 6 years of patiently waiting but he has arrived. He is gonna be the one that is gonna carry the younger generation and new comers into the future with the power that is Grateful Dead music!
