Unreal. The place was melting, twirling, dancing and dreaming. After all the anticipation, it was way more than I expected. Johnny D from Peak is a genius and a gem to our scene. The collaboration Peak, Madison House and Anon Salon was a magical potion of mystical collective consciousness that sends shivers up the back of my neck when I reflect on that night in San Francisco. I only wished EVERYONE I knew and loved could have been there to witness such a magical evening.
Cheese never fails to come through when we need them the most. I love these guys, I love our community, I love my friends (Katie, Steve, and my brother Randy) I couldn`t have had such a Peak Experience without them. I love that I fell down the rabbit hole with my beautiful and amazing wife Emma. Bless our friends, family and our scene. Sometimes I think we all forget how lucky we are.
Thank you guys for the time of our lives. We`ll see you all next year.
Peace, love and music.

If you were celebrating NYE elsewhere, do yourself and a favor and download 12/31/05 immediately. If you were there, the show is every bit as hot on tape as it was live (and you know what I am talkin bout). Simply stated I have never been to any show that could compare to this. SCI touched on every style you love and unvieled some sounds I have never heard them attempt before. The second set was a blockbuster with some unbelievable old school grass on Black Clouds>Big Mon>Black Clouds for the purists. That was followed by a nasty techno-funk jam featuring DJ Lorin on turn tables and MC Radio Active laying down beat box and freestyles. At this point my buddy turned to me and said "The Cheese is f`ing bringing it". Nobody else in the business can play such a diverse repertoire. SCI has ruled the West for quite some time, and after this show it is safe to say that they are the Kings of the Jam World!

what an incredible evening...the last day of the year and the first day of the new year. I can`t think of anywhere else I would have rather been. The Cheese melted the roof (literally) on this joyous occassion or maybe it was warm melting cheese sauce from all the fun loving, good spirited people in attendance both nights? I couldn`t tell ya...I never did taste it but felt it dripping on my head both nights. The imaginative spectacles brought by John Dwork of Peak and the merger with Anon Salon was something not to be missed! A show that will go down as one of the best...of course the last 4 shows have been the best...Orleans late night, Winter Solstice, and these two...it`s easy to come to the conclusion that SCI gets better each and every incident! I love the String Cheese Incident!
