Such a fun concert that's bright & beaming & the sound quality is fantastic. The Unbroken Chain/Help/Slip/Franklins/Corrina/Matilda run to open the 2nd set really blew me away. Row Jimmy was beautiful.

I’ve always thought that Spring ‘95 was such a fun run. The guys are in great spirits and everyone plays really well. This show is particularly tight. And it’s got plenty of excellent contributions from Vince, who we all know is sorely underrepresented in the cannon of official Dead releases. I believe this is only the 3rd or 4th release from post-Hornsby Dead.

What can you say? It’s 95 and Jerry’s tone sounds great. Listen to this Row Jimmy. They’re great during this period. Also the playfulness of Franklin’s, an almost new approach to it you don’t hear pre 1993. And the corrina ( I was always a fan ) and ensuing jam > Matilda. Super cool. This was a David Gans Grateful Dead hour I recorded on tape and listened to in the 90s. There’s a lot of great stuff in 93-95, just gotta know where to poke around

The Omni, Atlanta — 3/29/95 A quintessential snapshot of the final year. Set One is a steady blues-heavy warmup anchored by a crisp "Jack Straw" opener. Set Two cracks open with the elusive "Unbroken Chain," then drops straight into a soaring "Help > Slip > Franklin's" before a weird late-era detour through "Corrina" and the ultra-rare "Matilda." A deeply emotional "Standing on the Moon" out of Space grounds the back half before a classic "Not Fade Away" closer. Emotional. Rare cuts. Essential '95.
