I caught the 29th and the NYE show, and 2nd Set NYE was super solid and probably my favorite of both shows I caught. The Tower of Power tune and some Steely Dan were great cappers to this show and a great vibe throughout the night.

The first two sets were good but just average. However, the third set was ridiculous! Could not believe Stasik actually sang! That was awesome. And to the guy Mindless Dribbler, you are an absolute moron if you think Umphrey's McGee is as terrible as you say. Your post name is based on a Disco Biscuits song and they suck so bad its not even funny so you obviously have no idea what good music really is. Why were you at the Aragon in the first place if you hate them so much? Maybe your boyfriend made you join him before some buttf*cking?

This band is a joke. I scoff the fans that have the audacity to applaud the garbage that this band plays. I cant even beleive they are respected in this jamband scene whatsoever.
I saw this show last night and I was disgusted I almost threw up in my mouth. They try to bring some trance and come off as the biggest fags ever. Their jams are highly predicatable mediocre at best. The band member themselves think for some reason they are big deals and their ridiculously pompous personalities far overshadow their limited musical abilities. These guys remind me of the average douche bag you see in lincoln park trying to be artsy but fancy at the same time.

Sad really.

Great show! Awsome setlist, but I really wish they would play less covers. Headphones was great, I never thought I would hear that song live. Overall, worth the download, but the first night still tops this show.

I loved the experience that Umphrey's provided; the balloons, stage antics, and overall feel was incredible. They keep pushing the envelope on their own style and never are afraid to try new things.
