Wet, cold, and happy (9/17/2025 2:50:53 PM)
Well it was wet, cold, and I had a blast!! Sturgill always puts on an amazing live show and this one didn’t disappoint, despite a 40 minute weather delay and on and off rain the entire show. He played right till curfew at 11:30, making it about a 3.5 hour show of music as he started exactly at 7:30. Whiter shade of pale was such a great opener, brace for impact was jammed out for about 15 - 20 minutes before the weather delay. Long white line stood out as a particularly great version, lay down sally and black dog we’re smoking, LA women is always great, railroad of sin is as jammed out to perfection, scooter blues had me dancing my ass off, Jupiter fairies is such an amazing new song, midnight rider capped off a night of sick covers, it ain’t all flowers was rock n roll heaven, and welcome to earth was an emotional release, overall an A show despite challenging weather…
