One of Goose’s best performances. It is worth noting that this “jam” band still hasn’t figured out how to jam as a full band, it’s just three guys vamping for the guitarist and almost exclusively type one jamming. So it isn’t really improv is it? And somebody said Myst jam is better than I-Man jam, and to that I laugh. The biscuits created a genre of music and the entire band jams and almost every jam is type two, so obviously improvisational…while Goose is still stuck in type one with only one member of the band doing anything improvisational. I’m not saying Goose is bad, cuz they’re actually good, but I call things the way they are and I’m not going to fluff them or appease the masses by overrating them. They’re worth listening to, but they aren’t a band that can play improvised jams and the guitarist is the only one of them that does jam. It is what it is and they aren’t who they are….

First show was Raleigh 2024 and this Pancakes opener was a great way to remind me in, flew up last fall for homdel and that massive BM debut, had a hometown show this summer in ILM and that played like a record as encore. So to wrap this up this with everything I just said came into play during this show and it was the most perfect show I couldve imagined theres no one better when they play this good

Did both nights in Richmond and was reeling from how insane the shows were. Came home and set up the outdoor projector and streamed this show and lost it. SEEKERS!!!! Holy hell. More please. Second set was probably the best I’ve heard. Seamless all the thru with Elmeg finish. Keep it going boys!!
