I don’t care what anyone says. Billy Strings is this generation’s Jerry Garcia. His VAST knowledge of music, his humbleness, his respect for other musicians, his willingness to constantly learn and perfect his craft, and the fact he’s a bad ass who plays the absolute fuck out of everything he attempts are just a FEW of the reasons this man is BEYOND special. I love everyone who reads this and wish you all the very best in this existence we call life.

Hot damn, could not have asked for a better set to start the weekend off. Thank you Billy for absolutely delivering and carrying that bluegrass torch strong. Jerry and David are proud of ya!

BMFS always kicks ass. A lot of Deadheads got their first exposure to Billy and his band. Loved his set and I felt like he was just getting warmed up after 75 minutes. Loved the nod to Jerry and the Wharf Rat was next level.

Wow! First time, long time here! Couldn't have been more anticipation for musical notes to phil (on purpose) the air! BS and crew rocked the house! This show touched my heart. I will never forget this experience.

The term “passing of the torch” is way over used. But this show and the closing Wharf Rat were definitely a hand off from one generation to the next.
