Sturgill dismantled the beach pebble by pebble like he had something to prove! The “we aint even close to fucking done yet!”…top 5 concert moment of my life. I’ve been seeing shows at this resort for years and this was unequivocally, conservatively, the best show to ever happen at this site. Viva la Johnny Blue Skies!

Incredible. Just next level playing and energy. They just keep getting better.

I’m overjoyed about Sturgill joining the Dead community. The jamming was what separated Grateful Dead from other significant bands of their time, but the thing that made them immortal was the songwriting. Vocal imperfections live were something of that time, not something to strive for. The Grateful Dead wrote timeless songs and could at least sing those songs, in key, on record. I’ve been waiting on someone or some band to build off of the Grateful Dead improvisational jams, but more importantly, also write great songs and have great vocals. In a scene of derivative everything, Sturgill is someone refreshing and engaging. Love this

One of the best shows of the whole tour so far, band absolutely killed it. Might be the best railroad of sin there is
